Peace Intention Experiment. It is being initiated by the
leading author Lynne McTaggert, who writes extensively on
consciousness and the effects of intention.
The "Experiment" will take place on Sunday, September 14th
worldwide, to help determine whether creating a global
intention (one well-directed thought) has the power to lower
crime and violence.
If you are interested in finding out more about this, or if
you are interested in participating, connect with the link
below for specifics. Read about it and see if it resonates

Commissioner Candidate Forum
I hope you can all come to the Commissioner's
Candidate Forum on sustainability and emergency
issues at Cliff Lanes on October 28th at 6pm. This
will be the last public forum for the candidates
before voting day. Even if you have already placed
your vote, you can come and hear about what they
have to say on the issues that are important to
you.
This will also be the last forum for the 2008 series
for
Sustainable Ways. We are starting the planning
process for the 2009 series of educational forums,
tours, and workshops. If you would like to suggest
topics for any of these, please let me or a board
member know. We are in the final stages of
formatting the membership and will be presenting it
to the group on Tuesday evening. This membership
will help Sustainable Ways continue to bring you the
most up-to-date information on topics that you
choose from renewable energy to the local food
shed.
